Can't believe it's been a year since we started Hip To The Hop on Purple Radio. I took the opportunity of a new slew of dates to do a second mix for the series. It's always a pleasure (and challenge) to focus for an hour on one genre, and with the sheer breadth and choice of hip-hop that's no exception. Here i've gone for a blend of old and new, some underground and some fairly well known stuff. It starts pretty mellow but picks up pace.
As you'd expect with a hip-hop mix: there's quite a bit of bad language, so probably best not to put it on during a family supper.
